First Home Study Completed!

Our first home study is completed!  The first home study actually took place at the agency, rather than in our home.  It was a great time for Nathan and I to reflect on our engagement, wedding day, marriage, and our relationship.  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful social worker.  We have been working diligently to complete the required education, through online training, reading requirements, seminars, and interviews.  The education requirements are time consuming; however they are providing invaluable information about what to expect throughout the adoption process, what to expect post-adoption, and tools for parenting an internationally adopted child.  We are so thankful for our family and friends who have been such an encouragement to us as we have begun this journey.  We are so excited about our journey, though it may be tough, to one day meet the precious child that God has been preparing our hearts for.  We are ready!
