We Are Officially Waiting On Travel Approval!!!!

As of yesterday, 05/16/2011, we are officially waiting on travel approval! Our Article 5 was picked up at the U.S. Consulate yesterday and is being sent to the CCA* to be processed for travel approval. It will take about 3-4 weeks to get approved. We are just about ready to jump out of our skin. We are so ready to go to China and hold that sweet girl in our arms that we can hardly stand it. Ryan, of course, is ready too!

We still have not received any updates or pictures of Karlye. We have contacted a company that will send money to Karlye's orphanage with a request to purchase a cake to celebrate her "Forever Family". The hope is that not only will she get to have a "Forever Family" celebration, but also that they would send pictures to let us know that they purchased the cake for Karlye. We shall see... The company said that it usually takes about a week or so to receive pictures, if they are actually taken. We are dying to see some updated pictures of her. It has been almost 4 months!

The next (and last) step is Travel Approval (TA)!!! Woohoo!!

Have you figured out a way to take Ryan along? I am sure Karlye wants to meet her "sibling" Prayers are answered as I was just praying this weekend that you would hear something soon! The power of prayers are alive and well. So so excited for all of you. Love to all of you!!!!!

I agree with Aunt Renee. I was just thinking/praying yesterday for a breakthrough for you all. Praise the Lord! I wish you were leaving today! Hold on Karlye! Your Daddy and Mommy are on their way!!!
