We have most of our travel details confirmed! Yipee!! We will be leaving here Tuesday, June 21. We will arrive in Beijing on Wednesday night (China time). Where we are in China is 13 hours ahead of central standard time. The rest of the travel details are as follows (all in China time):
Thursday: Rest and Relax
Friday-Saturday: Touring Beijing
Sunday: Leave for Nanjing (The capital of Karlye's province). First trip to Walmart and preparing paperwork
Monday: Gotcha Day!! Praise The Lord!! Another trip to Walmart!
Tuesday: Complete Adoption Paperwork
Wednesday-Thursday: Touring/Shopping in Nanjing
Thursday: Orphanage/Finding Place Visit if Invited
Friday: Leave for Guangzhou
Saturday: Karlye's Medical Appointment
Sunday-Monday: Touring Guangzhou
Tuesday: Karlye's US Consulate Appointment
Wednesday: Karlye's Oath Taking
Thursday: Leave for Shanghai
Friday: Leave for Home!
We will arrive home on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 5:20pm!! Anyone is welcome to meet us at the airport! We would love to have you there! The flight number coming home is Delta 3923 from Detroit to here, if you would like to call and check on the status of the flight. If for some reason we do not make the connecting flight in Detroit, we will post details of the new flight and time on the blog.
In the meantime, we are busy at work trying to get everything in order to leave! This is so much fun!! Thank you all again for your all of your support, encouragement, and most importantly, your continued prayers. We will have Karlye in our arms in 16 days!!!!!!!! It is FINALLY here!

And here we were hoping we'd travel together, then losing hope with my delays, and now we're indeed going to be in China at the same time!! Can't wait to meet up in Guangzhou. Stacie - I was at work today subbing and asked about you and your travel plans and Johnna was so sweet to share your blog with me. I am so glad because now I know how to pray, when to pray, and will be able to rejoice with you as you meet your precious girl! I am so happy for both of you and will be praying for you during this next week especially!!!!
