We received our LOA (Letter of Acceptance) on Tuesday November 27th, only 14 days after receiving PA! This was amazing news! We sent our I-800 paperwork out the same day, which will be about a 2-3 week process before getting approval. Chinese New Year is a two week holiday that falls in the middle of February this year, so this may delay our travel until the end of February/beginning of March. Time is flying by! We will have her in our arms before we know it!
We have been in touch with two other families with our agency from other states who have little girls in Lucy's orphanage! It has been so comforting to be in touch with these women as we wait to wrap our arms around our little girls. There is a possibility that we will be able to travel together...what an amazing experience that would be! I am so thankful that the Lord allowed our paths to cross and that our little girls will have the opportunity to remain friends after coming home!
We have painted Lucy's room and have her bedding, just waiting on furniture and adding the finishing touches! We will post more pictures once the room is completed!
