We have officially completed our pre-adoption education and our home study process will be completed this next week. This is huge progress!! Our home study has already been sent for review within the agency, and we just lack our home tour to wrap up this process. This part of the adoption journey has felt a little as if we were attending school again, spending many late nights with our heads in books or on the computer. It has all been well worth the time, but we are in much need of a break.
We may look back and wish that we were once again busy with education, as this begins the difficult journey of hurrying to fill out government paperwork and then patiently waiting month after month to see this precious little girl that we already long to love and embrace. It already feels as if each day gets harder and harder to patiently wait; however we know that the Lord will give us the strength to use this time to grow closer to each other and to Him, and to prepare for this next phase of our lives.
We want to thank all of our friends and family for their continued encouragement and prayer. We are so blessed to have such incredible support from so many people! Please continue to pray for us as we continue through this journey, but more importantly, please pray for our little girl in China and those caring for her. Please also pray for her birth parents, and praise their decision to give this little girl an opportunity to be cared for and loved by someone who is able to provide these needs.

So thankful that you guys added us to access you blog, know that we will be praying for you guys. Also, know that you have fellow friend that knows all too well the trials of patience with adoption. Love you and can't wait till you get a referral!
