The Garden Hotel is just as wonderful as we remembered it! Karlye just started screaming with joy when she saw the beds for her and Lucy! She quickly designated who's bed was who's. She just can't hardly stand the wait to see Lucy! She asks every couple hours when we will get to see Lucy.
We have a meeting today (Sunday here) to get our paperwork ready for "Gotcha Day"! It is almost here! We will meet in the lobby of our hotel at 2:00pm to travel to the civil affairs office to finally be able to see sweet Lucy!
I am currently typing this blog post at 4:00am China time. Karly is watching Ni Hao Kai Lan and Nathan is lying awake. Please pray for some good rest. It is very different trying to adjust to this time difference with a toddler because her body just doesn't understand...when she is awake, she is awake. We were awake yesterday morning from about 1:00am to 4:00am and up at about 6:30am for the day. This was after not sleeping for almost 30 hours during our travels. Nathan and I have been awake since about 2:00 this morning. We know the adjustment will come in time.
We received a few wonderful pictures from Lucy's orphanage on Friday night! They were pictures from the "forever family" cake and party with her sweet friends! It was such a wonderful surprise! I will post those pictures later today!
