Well...we made it!!! No flight delays! We are finally to our hotel where we will attempt to get a good nights sleep and adjust our bodies to a 14 hour time difference.
Everything went beautifully! Karlye did a fabulous job throughout our long day/days of travel! She slept some, watched movies/shows on the iPad, entertained the people around us (I know none of you can imagine that!), and played with her pile of new toys. We are so proud of her!
Nana made it through her first international flight, and she did a great job too( Ha)! What a big help she has already been to us...we are so thankful!
Have I mentioned before how incredibly LONG that flight is...just when you think you have been up in the air for at least half of the trip, they flash up that stinking map telling you that you have only been going a couple of hours. Whew! Totally worth every minute it takes to get there for our sweet girl, but boy it can be grueling.
We only have 3 more sleeps ( China time) until we get our sweet girl!! Thank you all so much for your prayers for safe travel. They were definitely felt.
We will take the train at 1:00pm tomorrow to Guangzhou. Karlye is so excited to ride the train! I will post again when we are settled in Guangzhou. Good night from China!
